It's so primitive that laws can be proposed without any proper numeric estimate of their possible impact. How many Europeans would be ok with a draconian surveillance mechanism if they knew we would be preventing only a handful of abuses?
- sgjohnson 4y agoI wouldn't be okay with a draconian surveillance mechanism even if it literally righted every wrong in the world.
- isolli 4y agoThe same happened with laws instituting vaccine passports (at least in France). They were not backed by any projection of the number of hospitalizations avoided or lives saved.
