This has not picked up people's attention. Not sure if this is something folks here do not care about or is it so off-target that people do not think it's worth commenting? I am eager to hear people's views on this topic, especially from those who are in engineering management positions or higher up on that ladder. I also want to know what engineers would like to see in a new SDM if someone new is stepping in as their manager, and whether these books are relevant.
