How does Talos compare to Core OS and other Kubernetes node host operating systems?
- linkdd 4y agoFrom the website: > Talos runs in memory from a SquashFS, and persists nothing, leaving the primary disk entirely to Kubernetes. Also: > Talos improves security further by mounting the root filesystem as read-only and removing any host-level such as a shell and SSH. This is not a classical Linux distribution like Core OS and others, it's the equivalent of busybox for Kubernetes.
