MacBook won't charge fully to save battery life
- CaliforniaKarl 4y agoThis is cool! I want to maximize battery life, and I’m almost always plugged in, so keeping the battery at 80% is fine with me. Though it would be awesome if I could say “I normally use my laptop on battery on weekends, so ensure it’s fully charged before X AM Saturday.”

- linsomniac 4y agoI've been manually trying to manage my Ego power tool batteries this way, but it would be really nice to be able to tell them to not charge above 80% or run below 20%, and not have to think about it. The $300-$400 batteries are worth protecting. My first Ego 5AH battery only lasted 4 years of mowing, which doesn't seem like a lot.
