Figure out something you are interested in, and start your own project in a language you like or would like to learn. 13 years ago, HashBackup was my first Python project and I still enjoy working on it nearly every day. As a piano player too, you'll get a lot more out of practice time if your brain is fully engaged on every note rather than practicing mindlessly. :-)
