Google Blocked My Site After My Post on Google Ads Monopolistic Dark Patterns
I published this post in September 2021 - https://joelx.com/google-ads-dark-patterns/16883/.
That same month, my Google organic traffic to 3,200 posts on my site cratered to zero.
Google Search Console shows no manual actions and no problems with the site.
I also had published some conservative posts, though nothing with misinformation about the election or coronavirus. Mostly my views on patents and such.
- high_byte 4y agoI can't help you there, but! I'm interested in reading more about such dark patterns so keep it up and if you or anyone else has more links on the topic that would be awesome. I wish to one day aggregate this information and pass it on. it is the only way to combat these dark patterns
- FesterCluck 4y agoMaybe it has to do with the first post not having a link to another site? Link reference and priority on your site play heavily into their algorithm.
