I believe edits that add clarity, and are not clickbait, should be allowed. I don't know if it's strictly enforced but today I broke this rule on my submission.

I believe edits that add clarity, and are not clickbait, should be allowed. I don't know if it's strictly enforced but today I broke this rule on my submission.
- giantg2 4y agoI often edit the title of my submits. Although it's generally to make them less click-baity than the original.
- dredmorbius 4y agoThe best edits or substitutions replace a poor source title with a subtitle, section title, or text from the article itself. I'd suggested for the recent "How this ends" piece, "how does this market meltdown that we are now in end", from text in the article itself.
