Developing pandemic-busting vaccines in 100 days
- codefreeordie 4y agoGetting from virus discovery to even a moderately-effective vaccine in 100 days would indeed be a great achievement. That said, the current Covid surge data even across countries with 90%+ vaccination rates with 2- or even 3-dose regimes, do spread some considerable doubt about whether such a vaccine would be "pandemic-busting"
- tinus_hn 4y agoDon't forget the vaccine isn't ready for use until it's been tested which takes a lot longer than 100 days.
