- kvdveer 4y agoThe underlying asset for euro's is debt. There's a lot to argue about whether debt makes a good asset for this purpose, but at least there's something. If you have a euro, somewhere, a debtor is obligated to give you a euro of value. There is no such obligation for bitcoin.
