I just tested your method of blowing air out of the window. Outside 18-19C, inside 22C. I also opened other windows.
Result: the longer I let the fan run, the hotter the inside got. I saw the thermometer rise from 22.1 to 22.4.
- eru 4y agoThanks for running the experiment! Your results seem rather strange, though. I wonder where the extra heat came from? Thermodynamics say that heat moves from hot to cold places, unless something intervenes.
- FooBarWidget 4y agoNot sure. But this house is very well insulated so it retains heat extremely well. Unfortunately not as good at keeping heat out.
- eru 4y ago> Unfortunately not as good at keeping heat out. I think it's good at keeping heat out, but the house itself contains a lot of heat producing things. Any appliance and creature produces heat.
