Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Greece have usually pretty good bread in your typical supermarket.
Northern countries tend to fare worse in my experience.
- mantas 4y agoAnd then there're different breads. Northern/east? style rye bread vs south/west? wheat. Both are different how well they stay for longer time and how you can mess them up.
