Every part of society needs an MLK Jr. We pay so much attention to elites who are as trivial and uninspiring as they are rich and powerful. It's been so long since a public figure was someone to believe in. Other than perhaps briefly Obama, I don't think it has happened in my lifetime (I'm under 40).
