- oblak 4y agoWell, that is certainly true. The current top player is like 40 and his aim surprisingly good. It's never happened with StarCraft, especially Brood War, though. Probably too taxing mechanically for anyone not spending 6 hours a day playing to compete at high level.
- shadowofneptune 4y agoStarcraft also took an absurdly long time to get a true sequel, while I'd imagine everyone but the die-hards moved on to Quake II and III.
- beebeepka 4y agoBrood War was still absolutely massive in Korea when SC2 was released. In fact, some of the most successful SC2 players went back to Brood War. It's crazy
