It's almost like he isn't a good businessman and was just at the right place at the right time.
I worry that the majority of billionaires were just lucky and confused that for skill. Then we give them disproportionate influence over society. Basically letting the pigeons drive the bus.
- NegativeLatency 4y agoReminds me of Fiddler on the Roof: The most important men in town would come to fawn on me! They would ask me to advise them, Like a Solomon the Wise. "If you please, Reb Tevye..." "Pardon me, Reb Tevye..." Posing problems that would cross a rabbi's eyes! And it won't make one bit of difference if i answer right or wrong. When you're rich, they think you really know!

- JKCalhoun 4y agoYou're right, they were at the right place, right time. Others were as well though, so I give them credit where it's due.
