Couldn't agree more, been saying this for years. There are moments when an "app-like" experience is what's required - and that's mostly (not always but mostly) when these SPAish approaches are relevant. On big, sprawling, multipage content-rich websites, not so much if at all. It depends. Web people should have this tattooed on their foreheads.
