Tim Cook was to Jobs what Ballmer was to Gates. Altho unlike Ballmer he was lucky that a new platform didn't emerge and so he could comfortably sit on the lead provided by his friend. And not only sit but also extend, like a coach establishing good running game once your QB puts you up 14-0. You still gotta manage the game tho. Tim Cook has been an amazing game manager.
