Amazon would likely rather retain (and re-use with their own back end) some APIs that Graphene won't.
- mikece 4y agoExactly: Amazon would need to remove the Google APIs first and then add the Amazon APIs. The spot in between is where there could be synergy with Graphene OS. The Graphene project tracks pretty close to the official AOSP releases so FireOS wouldn't get so far behind AOSP@current.
