- zamubafoo 4y agoI skipped over Plex and just used Jellyfin and I haven't had any issues in the 13 or so months I've been running it.
- RealStickman_ 4y agoJellyfin has less clients than Plex and a lot of the clients they have are less mature than their Plex counterparts. Personally I don't really mind that, as I mostly watch on my PC, Phone or Kodi, all of which have decent clients imo.
- h4waii 4y agoLast time I used it, syncing the metadata (media details, watched status resume points, etc) across multiple clients wasn't good enough for me. I have 3 Kodi clients, all on the same LAN, and it never worked properly. I switched to PlexMediaServer, the PlexKodiConnect plugin, and have been relatively happy -- other than Plex knowing what media my generic email address is consuming. Perhaps I shall take another look at Jellyfin and see if I can move over completely.
