- josephcsible 4y agoWhat part of "6. No Discrimination Against Fields of Endeavor: The license must not restrict anyone from making use of the program in a specific field of endeavor. For example, it may not restrict the program from being used in a business, or from being used for genetic research." and "The freedom to run the program as you wish, for any purpose" is so hard for people to understand? Any software that uses this license is non-free and non-open-source. Also, to the author of this, if your house gets a termite infestation, should you just abandon it to them and let them destroy it? If not, then you should reconsider whether your position on forbidding killing any animals. (Most of the rest of the "ethics" of this license are similarly backwards, e.g., banning religion).
