People with good intentions, who also don't know how things work want to force interoperability of messaging apps. What could possibly go wrong.
- usrn 4y agoWe had it before with XMPP (which even has a Signal-style E2EE standard now.) There's absolutely no reason we can't have it again.
- tinus_hn 4y agoIt’s not all good intentions of course, this would also make it easier to ‘work around’ all that annoying end to end encryption so they can snoop on the terrorists, the pedophiles, the communists or whatever todays excuse.
