For what it's worth, as much as I loved reddit in the past, staying off it along with facebook have made such an improvement upon my life. I totally get wanting to just relax and scroll interesting topics but similar to tiktok, a lot of stuff is just "nonsense" and "noise."
Felt like I was missing everything after I got off but then I realized I really wasn't lol.
- mmsimanga 4y agoI actually now append the word reddit to Google searches. I never did do the Reddit front page for some reason so I have never understood why Reddit is classed with other social media. I always used Reddit for the subreddits. Apart from HN and Stackoverflow and one or two other sites like instructables.com I don't think there is many other sites with better curated useful information on specific subjects.
