I know DB is owned by the state but I'm anyway interested in whether the difference to the original price is subsidized by the state. Or if it's just a special offer that allows them to cover expenses.
- germanier 4y agoThe federal state will pay 2.5 billion euro to the 16 states which in turn are responsible to compensate operators (or whoever actually receives the fare for the journey - this might be someone else) for the lost revenue.
