I quit Reddit during the pandemic because all the covid discussion was driving me round the bend a bit, but I came back when things got back to normal. I'm pretty much in the same boat, if Reddit make it impossible to use anything but the new site on desktop I'm gone. I just hope general dissatisfaction with Reddit leads to a rebirth of the forums Reddit killed off during its rise to prominence. I'd literally rather use Reddit though the terminal than their awful new site! I have no idea what their designers were thinking when they came up with it, it's such a faff to actually do anything with.
