Maybe a dumb question, but how do the police seize a building? Assuming this just means they barred, under threat of arrest, the owners from using the property?
- NovemberWhiskey 4y agoIt would mean they had ownership of the building transferred to them.
- butlerm 4y agoWhen the police do anything it is ultimately an exercise of raw force. They come, evict you, and change the locks. The only question is do they have legal justification for their actions that will stand up in court? Warrants, judicial sanction, etc. in advance is highly advisable. This is why we are taking your property, go hire an attorney if you disagree.
