Thank you for the feedback... I change the scheme regularly, as part of a series of user experience experiments. It's currently in Dark Mode because Medium's current restrictions on light mode made the article unreadable. (That is, choosing any color other than #fff for the background and Medium made the text so light grey it could not be read).
