- mellavora 4y agoYes, I go back to slashdot every now and then and cry. It was so good in its glory days. Makes me wonder what will come after HN. Everything has a lifespan.
- JacobAldridge 4y agoIn 2008 it had only recently changed names from 'Startup News', and YC was giving startup founders $6,000 each (+ $6,000) to do the program - this week I read about someone doing a pre-seed raise of $1.2 million!
- ovi256 4y agoBy this rate, in 14 years we'll be seeing pre-seed rounds of $20 million!
