Are you OK with the setup that the head of the NIH has his professional ethical decisions overseen by his wife? PS I don't even get how these people are still working for public institutions - he's 81 and she's 70. I'm not being ageist, I just thought there were policies for this sort of thing. It's even more amazing to me, that it's such a closed shop and that you can get to oversee people with whom you have a close personal relationship... I mean this isn't meant to be a family business! PPS I'm not on the right either (or left). I don't vote; these actions are not done with my consent, I do not consider the government to have any authority over me.
