I remember the first large crypto wave, when bitcoin shortly shot over $1k. Just for it to sit under $300 for around few years before bouncing back... And bounce back it did. I'm sorry but people like this have no idea what they are talking about. Crypto will go back up, it may be 3 years from now who knows.
