Netflix customers canceling service increasingly includes long-term subscribers
- jfengel 4y agoIt makes sense that long-term subscribers would shuffle through the services. Netflix does a decent job of cranking out new content, but it will never be able to reproduce that first-day experience of decades of back catalog. If you go away from the service, it builds up new back catalog. The new stuff doesn't go away. There are occasional "events" where you want to see something Right Now, the same time everybody else does (e.g. the way Game of Thrones created so much discussion every week). But such things are rare, and if one materializes, you can re-join the service.
