Sometimes the process _is_ the punishment, and at the end you're ruined regardless.
I'd like to know why he regretted that decision. Perhaps he felt it was an admission of guilt.

- temp8964 4y agoAfter he resigned, everyone cut tie with him and his grants were took away. If he had sued the university, the university can't do anything to him while the lawsuit is going on.
