buying booze
- givemeethekeys 4y agoPeople disagree with you here, but they obviously spend a lot of money on it because it makes them happy.
- rozenmd 4y agogood booze* Chances are if you're reading this, you can afford the good wine. It's worth it.
- randomopining 4y agoWhat's the good stuff? Also what's your best spirits?
- rozenmd 4y agoFor example, when I lived in Australia I just bought $10 second-bottom-shelf wine. I eventually realised the $20-30 stuff was significantly better, I was just being cheap.
- the_only_law 4y agoKinda random, but is wine the only expensive alcohol “normal” people are willing to buy or something? I als because I could walk into a liquor store right now and see all sorts of wines varying in price between stuff I’d think twice about drinking and stuff I’d think twice about before paying for. But I’m always disappointed by the liquor selection. Sure it offers more than a typical bar, but they seem on par with some l fancier cocktail bars I’ve been to. They tend to have a lot of different drinks, but outside of your typical liquors, there’s maybe only one or two brands of anything, never particularly expensive or cheap. But there’s never really much expensive liquors (at least compared to expensive wines, which get locked up)
- rozenmd 4y agoIt's probably just an easier sell when folks didn't like the product - "oh that particular vintage wasn't great, try another year" versus "oh you think all tequila is bad because you drank too much jose cuervo gold in college..."
