I feel this is the most critical mistake he made. There are stories that those who fought back actually got to keep their jobs (and reputation). The university investigation never gave him due process and was totally biased. He might had a chance.
- secondcoming 4y agoSometimes the process _is_ the punishment, and at the end you're ruined regardless. I'd like to know why he regretted that decision. Perhaps he felt it was an admission of guilt.

- temp8964 4y agoAfter he resigned, everyone cut tie with him and his grants were took away. If he had sued the university, the university can't do anything to him while the lawsuit is going on.
