- toomuchtodo 4y agoShould be a log of messages and IG actions Facebook infosec can reference, no? Someone unbanned the IG account and there should be a log of that event.
- gojomo 4y agoUnderstanding how moderation powers for online services play out in real-life situations is absolutely an important topic for hackers. Especially so when it's the megaplatforms on which so many other projects depend. Similar motivations can also often create privacy risks for users & staff, requiring both technical & organizational design to prevent. The NSA, Google, and others have all had problems where employees misused their access to pursue personal romantic/social aims. There's a reason the YC application traditionally asked, "Please tell us about the time you, username, most successfully hacked some (non-computer) system to your advantage."
