- theandrewbailey 4y agoNot surprising. Building out hundreds of miles of fiber and/or coax cable in a city is very expensive. If you know that most (if not all) of your potential customers are already with another cable or phone provider, would you try to capture them? Why not focus your efforts on areas that don't have service already?
