- kurupt213 4y agoThe oil companies transitioned to gas as a priority years ago. It burns cleaner than gasoline or fuel oil and fuels a lot of ‘clean’ burning power plants. They use catalysts to crack large unsaturated molecules in petroleum and break them down further into C1-C5.
