Did not really read the article - absolutely ugly choice of colors that hurts my eyes.
But yes this light grey on white (often using thin fonts) causes me to immediately leave. Modern design is most often about creating some crap with zero idea about the ergonomics.
- mdp2021 4y ago> causes me to immediately leave There is no strict need to leave: you view client-side material and there exist tricks to modify page styles.
- FpUser 4y agoIf I am in desperate need I'll find a way to read. Otherwise I have very little desire for extra clicking
- pipeline_peak 4y agoHave you tried modifying the pages background color? I don't have the best web dev knowledge, but this medium page isn't very easy.
- mdp2021 4y agoRight, I see the background in Medium is non evident, an attribute of class '.ev' ( body > div#root > div.a.b.c > div.l.ev )
- pipeline_peak 4y agoI got it now, background-color's box was so dark it appeared as black, was too lazy to read the rgb value.
