... or use Firefox (Tor Browser after disabling tor) + uBlock Origin, and avoid all the unwanted crap most websites throw at you today. And train yourself not to automatically search for everything on Google. Instead use IMDB, Wikipedia, Stackoverflow / Stackexchange, Reddit etc. etc. by adding their search to your browser ( https://superuser.com/questions/7327/how-to-add-a-custom-search-engine-to-firefox https://superuser.com/questions/7327/how-to-add-a-custom-sea... ).
- bobajeff 4y agoThat still leaves you going to sites who's only purpose is to funnel you through some sales channel and waste your time. Edit: yeah that's good advice too. Though the *.edu trick also seems to be pretty useful so far.
