How Intel is using software acquisitions to save the sinking ship
- PaulHoule 4y agoWhen I hear "software" and "Intel" in the same sentence I want to shake my head. In one of my areas of specialization it seemed Intel's M.O. was to hire a few junior people to accomplish in two years what I'd accomplish in two weeks. It'd hard to believe a software person is really going to be happy in a hardware company: when you've got different lines of business like that a social hierarchy emerges and it really gets in the way of "getting things done."
