Two exceeedingly minor scientific papers, but fortunately my misdeeds in school Chemistry were long forgotten by then. OT but interestingly in German there's a clear distinction in such cases between the word "Buch" (= book, of the sort that you read from) and the word "Heft" (= exercise book, of the soft-bound variety that you write in).
