Interesting that this happened in 2014. Wasn’t there an Astronomer in the 90s who predicted something out of the Oort Cloud beyond Pluto was approaching Earth?

Interesting that this happened in 2014. Wasn’t there an Astronomer in the 90s who predicted something out of the Oort Cloud beyond Pluto was approaching Earth? Something like it was 50 billion miles away in the 80s and then only 7 in the 90s? I can’t seem to find information on it. Seems interestingly related, especially with the following interstellar objects in 2017 and then 2019 iirc.
