Wild, I've never heard this suggested in relation to the "climate debate." Wouldn't this explain a large percentage of the variance in weather? It also aligns with flight as an industry growing, and it's demonstrably shown to be caused not just correlation. Hmm.

That was just the first hit I got, after remembering, and searching for it. I also remember naysayers, when this came up years ago, also here on HN, much later. Just thought it to be related, so posted it again :-)
