Every ISP in the US has been ordered to block three pirate streaming services
- hericium 4y ago> The blocking orders affect Israel.tv, Israeli-tv.com, and Sdarot.tv,
- joeframbach 4y agoThanks. This is a good case where HN's rule about mirroring the article's title is a disservice.

- waselighis 4y agoThis article is from May 3, I recall seeing it posted on HN before. Before anyone starts ringing the censorship alarm bells, from what I recall, this order is fundamentally unenforceable. ISPs likely have no obligation to block the pirate sites in question, and likely nothing will come of it.
- BMc2020 4y agoI recently torrrented again after a long time off (lost interest in watching movies). But I hearrrd about this movie from India that was awesome. Setup a torrent and left for work. The movie had downloaded fine when I got home. Comcast had also disabled my internet. No signal strength at the cable modem. But, being familiar with this trick (my pi-hole to block advertising being what set them off last time) I restored it by turning off the cable modem for several minutes. I doubt a single human interaction was involved except mine.
