Why doesn’t DigitalOcean go after the enterprise market?
- solalf 4y agoFrom their latest earnings call “Average revenue per customer in the quarter was $68.90”. This seems extremely low, and suggests the vast majority of their customers are on their base $5/month plan. Doesn’t the company have sales teams? If not, why is that? And if they do, why are they so ineffective?
- zhte415 4y agoBreaking this down: The average customer spending more than $50/month seems to spend an average of $87/month, and the average spend of those that spend less than $50/month appears to be $3.3/ month. This makes the increases make sense, especially for a 1G droplet.
