There are three forward-facing cameras, each with a different depth of field, which I would _hope_ it can use as binocular vision, but this still doesn't solve for this exact problem when looking sideways! The single B-pillar-mounted cam, in my mind, cannot POSSIBLY be capable of, say, looking around a bush at an intersection of a side street connecting to a large, fast arterial road. Again, humans move their heads around the bush, they'll creep forward and then _lean_ forward to get a view around it, without having to extend the nose of the vehicle into the perpendicular traffic. The car simply does not have the sensors to be able to replicate this functionality. It has a single camera in the B-pillar for perpendicular vision. That's it. In a position fixed BEHIND THE DRIVER'S HEAD. I cannot fathom how that will ever work for these cases.
