- btbuildem 4y ago"Road train" is a monicker for multi-trailer semis. These are quite common in Australia. In North America we sometimes see doubles, but I don't think they quite qualify for the name.
- ducttapecrown 4y agoLast year I drove up I5 and counted at least 20 triples!
- tomcam 4y agoIn Aus they can be up to 5 or 6, 120 wheelers. And I think they might be driven by kangaroos. I could be wrong about that part.
- andylynch 4y agoThey are different from road trains- these were built to drive through untracked wilderness. Wikipedia calls them ‘overland trains’ Road trains were invented in Australia to haul livestock and general freight on their long, empty roads
