I'm willing to wait it out and see what happens. I've been very happy with Linode, and I don't have anything against Akamai which would force me to migrate immediately. This could accelerate Linode's growth into a larger alternative cloud provider. Right now they are still very much a VPS provider with some recent managed services offerings thrown on top. I'd certainly say having an alternative to the big 3 providers in the market to create some competition is a good thing.
