StoicOS: Removing all the unproductive features from mac/windows/linux

4 points by dario-fino 4y ago

I want to remove all the unproductive features from all the operating systems to free us all from unnecessary distractions, specifically: 1. Video playback 2. Social media 3. Videogames I am looking for fellow devs and believers in content freedom, to help me out in this endeavour and release these patches asap. Following is a Discord server to discuss on how to tackle the technical challenges: https://discord.gg/fTENHQHF58

This is completely impractical, since all of those things exist as Web apps. You'd need to not include a general-purpose Web browser to be able to accomplish that.
