I think this has been asked on HN before, but uBlacklist (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublacklist/ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublacklist/) works well (though the author is unrelated to gorhill of uBlock0 fame).
