You know that sounds reasonable until you realize you could solve this 'issue' by not trying to lock out users from root in the first place. Give everyone root, sure they can mandate some mitm whatever at the border but it won't matter once you disable it with your root... I think the post you are responding too is far more salient than these bogeymen you are inventing... Sure, there are going to be issues with some folk installing spyware, but honestly not having root hasn't solved this issue.
