Python Language Summit: Python in the Browser
- thalwr 4y agoThe Python Language Summit is a corporate sponsored event for a subset of core "developers" to appear, show presence and increase their irrational power. Nothing of value has been decided there in the past decade. When something drives Python forward, it is usually by an unknown third party, who slaves over a large contribution that the public faces of Python will slowly take credit for.
- webmaven 4y agoWow. That's an extremely cynical point of view (and I'm pretty darn cynical, myself). Care to cite an example or two to substantiate it (especially the "take credit for" bit)?
